2. Collapsing the Space between your CURRENT VERSION and your DREAM VERSION
Have you ever felt as though your dream life is miles away? No matter how much you plan, visualise, and take action, that gap in between feels huge.
But what if I told you that gap isn’t real?
In this article, you’ll find my notes on how to shorten the space between where you are and where you want to be by using the power of quantum thinking, reprogramming your subconscious, and tapping into a higher dimension of the reality you’re used to.
Time and Space: An Illusion of the 3D World
For the longest time, I thought that success required effort, patience, and gradual progress over time. I believed the more effort I put in, the more I would get back.
However, after reading more than enough material from Dr. Joe Dispenza and other quantum thinkers I soon realised these rules are not fact.
Time and space are constructs of the physical world, otherwise known as the 3D.
But in the quantum field, all possibilities exist simultaneously. Meaning the version you want to be is already living out her life on another timeline.
A timeline where you get paid to do what you love, a timeline where you are in your dream relationship, a timeline where you experience financial freedom while being healthy both physically and mentally.
This also means, that when you focus your energy on being your future self now, you collapse the illusion of time and space. Your subconscious mind cannot distinguish between what’s real and what’s imagined, instead, it responds to your emotional state.
Here’s how Dr. Joe Dispenza explains it:
The Quantum Field: Everything you desire already exists as an energetic potential in the quantum field.
Time and Space Are Flexible: In this physical field, your future self isn’t “out there” in the distance and your job is to bring it towards you. It’s already here, now, waiting for you.
All you have to do is align with it.
Your Energy Creates Your Reality: To collapse the gap, you don’t have to chase after your dream life. Instead, become the energetic match for it.
This is when I realised instead of focusing on how far away I was from the woman I wanted to be, I had to focus on embodying the person I wanted to become.
Becoming the Energetic Match for Your Dream Self
So the million-dollar question now becomes:
“If all I have to do is energetically align with my dream version to become her, how do I do that?”
The quickest way to collapse time is to step into the energy of your dream self right now.
Here’s how I’ve done this in my own life:
Visualisation with Emotion:
Visualisation is simply wishful thinking unless you have emotionally charged thoughts backing it.
I don’t think there is a moment throughout the day where I’m not visualising my dream version, but what I’ve learned is not just seeing it but also feeling it.
I imagine walking through my dream apartment, hearing the sounds of outside when I open my windows, smelling the scent of the coffee, and soaking up the emotions that come with this vision.
When I started doing this, I wasn’t just daydreaming, I was training my body and mind to believe I already lived that life.
Dress and Act the Part
Although the game of life is a mental one, there are some things you can do in the physical to align with your dream version. Show up as the woman you envision through your sense of style.
Create a mood board on Pinterest and pin together the type of outfits your dream version would wear, including the colours, the prints, and the texture.
If the version of you now would wear it, start building that wardrobe, now.
I made a conscious effort to wear beautiful loungewear even when working at home and began organising my mornings like I already had a six-figure business helping women around the world.
Small actions like this signal to your subconscious mind that you’re already living as your future self.
Elevate Your Self-Concept
How you see yourself is how the world will see you, and how you’ll experience it. One way I gained control of this was by changing my internal dialogue.
Instead of using depreciating language towards myself, I would use appreciating language to empower who I was. Doing this changed my emotions, which in turn changed my actions.
How to Collapse Time and Space
Collapsing time and space isn’t just about the mindset it’s about knowing how to make it a part of your daily lifestyle.
Here is the simplest way I’ve tried to make it a part of mine which you can try too.
Shift Your Focus
Instead of thinking about “when” you’ll achieve your goals, focus on “who” you need to be to achieve them.
Meditate on Your Future Self
Make time for being in a meditative state to allow you to connect to your dream version. Imagine your future self and feel the emotions of already living that life. Dive deeply into these emotions and when they arise, then choose another thought that feels even better than the last.
Act as If
Instead of thinking ‘of’ the future self, think from . For example, how would the version of you earning six figures handle their schedule or finances? Start implementing those behaviours now.
Regulate Your Nervous System
I noticed I couldn’t embody my dream self if I felt anxious or overwhelmed. Practices like EFT tapping, deep breathing, and nervous system regulation became non-negotiables for me.
Let Go of the “How”
Trust that the details will unfold naturally. Your job is to embody the energy, not to micromanage the process.
Finally
When I started creating Coffee Moon, I thought it would take years to become the version of myself I aspired to be.
I jumped in head first, messy, reckless and unsure, but what I really wanted was to be, confident, successful, and effortlessly in alignment.
What I didn’t know was how to become that version, all I had to do was everything above. Within months the community grew in thousands, opportunities started appearing almost magically and it felt as though the gap between who I was and who I wanted to become had collapsed entirely.
This was not magic, it was pure alignment (and repetition).
When you remember and act as if your dream self already exists, you start to attract experiences, people, and opportunities that match that energy.
There’s no perfect moment. It’s about becoming the version of you who already has it all right now. And once you make that shift, the results will show up faster than you ever imagined.
