5 Secret Steps To Manifesting Everything You Want

  1. Get Crystal Clear

Most people don’t get what they want because they cannot define what they want.

It sounds crazy, right?

How can anyone ask for something they’re not sure they even want? Yet the truth is, most people think they know what they want but aren’t able to define it into a crystal clear sentence.

What do you want? Can you define it in one sentence?

Buy yourself a notebook; this notebook will be specifically for writing down the finer details of what you want. If you wrote in your journal, ‘I live in a bright spacious house in the suburbs' write in specific detail what this house looks like, the interior, the colours, the features, etc.

Do this in every area of what you want. The most important aspect of this step is to be specific.

If you find it challenging to get clear about what it is you would like to manifest, use contrast. Take a piece of paper and draw a line down the middle.

Let’s use a new job, for example. On one side of the paper, write the kind of job you don’t want. You might write something like this,

  • I hate being dictated to’, on the other side of the paper, write the contrast, for example,

  • ‘I want a job where I am in a management position or I want to run my own business where I can delegate’.

Once you have completed this exercise, throw away the half of the paper with everything you don’t want and you’ll find you’re left with everything you do want.

2. Get on with your life

In the moment you ask, you have done your part. You have put it out there, and by the law of attraction the universe must deliver a match, sometimes tenfold. 

Your job is not to know the ‘how’.

When you worry about the location of the thing it is you want, you are conscious that you don’t have it, meaning you are operating from a place of lack.

Most people get hung up on worrying about how their desire will come into fruition.

They ask for more money, but after a week start doubt themselves because they can’t figure out how it’s going to happen.

But it’s not your job. Think back to a time when it felt like a miracle had happened, you were minding your business, then all of a sudden you bumped into your future husband down the cheese aisle in Tesco.

Or a friend told you about a position opening up related to your dream career, or you were given an unexpected lump sum of money. It just happened.

Instead of worrying about how your desire will manifest, put your focus on how it would feel to have your desire.

Find out what brings about that feeling and stay in that energy as long as possible; it might be a certain song, playing with your pet, watching TV, going for a walk, or singing out loud.

Whatever it is that brings the same feeling as if you had your desire right now as you read this, that is the feeling you need to reach for as much as possible.

3. Align, Believe, Embody

In society, we say ‘seeing is believing’; however in the world of manifestation, ‘believing is seeing’.

You must believe your desires are possible to experience in your physical reality, and know for a fact that each desire you have asked for is in the process of coming into fruition.

The only reason you don’t have what you want right now is because of your thoughts and actions, which have led you to this point. To believe with unwavering faith that what you have asked for is coming is to start living as though it has already happened. Embody the habits of someone wealthy, and start acting like someone fit and healthy.

You can’t ask for a healthier body but spend most of your days and nights consuming high amounts of alcohol and processed food. That is called a contradiction and sends a signal out to the universe that you aren’t ready to be who you say you want to be

To receive your manifestation, you must first become them.

4. Stay in alignment even when reality tests you

If all you did was steps one to three, you’ve done more than enough to have your dreams come racing towards you.

Yet, if it were this easy, you probably wouldn’t need to read this article. The reality is, remaining in a state of happiness every second of the day, every day, is not realistic, especially when you come face-to-face with external circumstances.

Have you ever woken up in a great mood and felt this was the day everything would finally go your way? Then, within minutes, as you’re leaving the house, you stub your toe, or drop your phone, it cracks, and then everything after that is a downward spiral?

Staying in alignment is being able to return to feeling good despite obstacles and challenges from everyday happenings. I won’t lie to you, it’s tough, even for someone like me who is blindly optimistic (sometimes to a fault), but once mastered is extremely liberating.

Staying in alignment doesn’t mean you should suppress negative emotions of being angry, upset, or disappointed because that is a very natural part of being human.

Become conscious of your emotions, using them as an indicator telling you to identify and pivot your thoughts in that moment to bring you back into the receiving mode.

The receiving mode? I hear you ask. I’ll briefly explain,

Our feelings are indicators of what we are attracting at that very moment.

Negative feelings such as hate, anger, and jealousy can bring about more situations that match those emotions, such as negative events, negative people, and negative news.

Whereas positive feelings such as joy, love, and gratitude bring about more good-feeling events and people who make you feel good. You might know this as the Law of Attraction, or for those who are familiar with the universal laws, will also recognise it as the Law of Correspondence.

Becoming aware of how you feel will have you is a great way to know what you are manifesting within that moment.

5. Be thankful for contrast

Quite frankly, none of this is smooth sailing. We live in a society where it’s easier to be negative than positive.

Still, a simple change in perspective and open-mindedness can be life-changing. Negative experiences can be triggering, but within that experience might lie a transformation in your self-growth and development.

Being thankful for contrast is to remember all you have survived up to this point and recognise you were strong enough to overcome. Mastering your energy so well that you appreciate that a negative situation can be a blessing in disguise will shift your energy and point you in the direction of the path you wish to take.

Step five is living in such a great state of confidence and trust in the higher power having your back, and that everything is always working out in your favour

Bonus Step

Another way to remain in a state of positivity is something so powerful, but has only recently been recognised in Western culture. Gratitude.

Gratitude is single-handedly one of the most powerful routes to manifestation.

Think about what you are grateful for right now, it might be access to drinkable water, fresh fruit and veg, a roof over your head, a car to drive, eyes to read this, the list is endless.
